Responsibilities

• Perform basic laboratory duties, including phlebotomy and other specimen collection
• Perform waived testing
• Assist with receiving, identifying, accessioning, processing, and transporting specimens
• Maintain adequate stock of supplies
• Maintain work area in a safe, aseptic, and organized manner
• Perform clerical duties including answering phones, data entry, and filing
• Communicate test results to appropriate healthcare providers
• Inventory phlebotomy services, reference lab supplies, and departmental office supplies
