Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

About This Role

Provide direct patient care to individuals in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, focusing on assessment, intervention, and documentation to ensure optimal outcomes. This role involves critical thinking and precise execution on an 8-bed unit during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
• Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certification within six months of hire
• PALS certification within six months of hire

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree preferred but not required
• 1-2 year previous experience preferred
