About This Role

Join a prominent AmLaw 100 firm in Walnut Creek, CA, to provide high-level legal services in labor and employment law, representing clients in litigation, counseling, and training.

Responsibilities

• Handle single plaintiff employment claims, PAGA, Wage & Hour, and FEHA matters
• Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings
• Draft and argue motions
• Take and defend depositions
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies, and opposing counsel

Requirements

• Admitted to practice in California
• 8-15 years experience in employment law
• Prior employment litigation experience (management side preferred)
• Experience handling single plaintiff employment claims
• Experience with PAGA, Wage & Hour, and FEHA matters
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• At least 8 to 15 years of experience in employment law matters, with prior employment litigation experience (preferably on the management side)

Nice to Have

• Employment counseling experience
• In-house employment law experience
