L3 LTE - Data Center Technician

About This Role

Maintain data center operations, ensuring availability and reliability of service levels. The role involves hardware and network diagnostics, repairs, troubleshooting, and occasionally traveling to other data centers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data center operations to ensure availability and reliability of service levels
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs
• Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures
• Train internal teams on data center operations
• Develop documentation for data center procedures
• Provide technical support to data center teams
• Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware
• Maintain inventory of data center equipment
• Assemble and install equipment
• Perform maintenance of test and tools equipment

Requirements

• Computer Hardware experience (troubleshooting, assembling)
• Linux Operating System experience
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to work in elevated locations
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support
• Excellent time management skills
• Organizational skills
• Communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and react quickly to issues
• Data center experience
• Rack and stack skills
• Troubleshooting skills
• Cabling experience
