Junior Engineering Technician

About This Role

As an Entry Level Engineering Technician, you will contribute to diverse infrastructure projects, supporting engineering teams with technical tasks. You will utilize digital tools and design software to assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation and project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop familiarity with standards, systems, document control, departmental guides, and BV policies and procedures
• Ensure deliverables are accurate and compliant by understanding and adhering to the BV Quality Program
• Demonstrate personal accuracy and support continuous improvement and change management efforts
• Learn to use applications to modify less complex deliverables based on design inputs
• Identify the needs of internal clients and gain a basic understanding of external client's main interests and drivers
• Proactively seek and share knowledge of the latest technologies and processes
• Serve as a resource for an assigned function: Civil, Mechanical, Structural, or Electrical

Requirements

• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search)

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate preferred. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
