This role involves designing and building robust backend services and microservices as part of a team responsible for scaling cloud-native platforms on AWS.
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services (microservices and APIs)
- Orchestrate complex business workflows using AWS Step Functions (and optionally Camunda)
- Scale secure, compliant AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Contribute to bringing Generative AI into production, including work with AWS Bedrock and AI agents
- Translate business processes into technical workflows
- Participate in architectural decisions and collaborate with cross-functional partners
Requirements
- Strong Java Spring Boot knowledge
- Familiarity with Cloud (AWS)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Relational Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- Ability to understand application flow end to end
- Good debugging skills
