ITS Maintenance Technician

About This Role

Perform a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and installation of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) field devices, ensuring they function correctly and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment including cameras, detectors, and controller cabinets
• Install electrical conductor, data conductor, and fiber optic cable
• Install pull boxes, conduit, poles, and foundations
• Connect conductors to equipment for proper functionality
• Connect electrical conductors to power services to energize equipment
• Test devices to ensure correct operation
• Prepare logs to track field conditions and installation activities

Requirements

• 2-4 years of related experience
• Familiarity with ITS field devices such as DMS, CCTV, MVDS, fiber optic and power systems
• Basic computer and networking skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma from an accredited high school. Technical coursework in related field is preferred.
• 2-4 years of related experience

• MOT Certification
• Fiber Optic Fusion Splicing and troubleshooting
