IT Project Manager

About This Role

Manage IT projects and program development activities from initiation through completion, ensuring effective resource utilization and aligning project goals with business objectives across cross-functional teams, including vendor management. This role involves blending traditional project management with agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Control IT projects through effective management of resources and schedules, ensuring no past due work in active project schedules
• Work with Business, Technical Leads, Solution Architecture, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure work is understood and delivered with business approval
• Facilitate teams in requirements gathering and planning of projects and programs into goals, deliverables, tasks, and milestones utilizing internal project systems
• Ensure project goals are in line with business objectives and achieved
• Facilitate teams in the establishment of full project plans including schedules, marketing and communication plans, release plans, and risk and issue management plans
• Assist in managing vendors for projects including budget, resources, and deliverables review
• Schedule agenda-driven meetings and provide meeting minutes as required
• Support continuous improvement efforts across the PMO by facilitating post-implementation reviews, documenting lessons learned, and enhancing project management tools
• Provide consistent project and program reporting through internal standardized systems and support COBIT governance activities

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT project management
• Experience with AI tools (Azure AI, Salesforce Einstein, Vertex AI)
• Successfully managing system implementations and software releases
• Proven track record serving as a project manager in cross functional projects/programs utilizing MS Project or other similar project tools
• Utilizing and managing outsource service provider resources on large scale projects

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or capacity, with a demonstrated record of success. Successfully managed system implementations and software releases.
