Regional Operations Manager

About This Role

Lead operational performance across multiple manufacturing facilities, focusing on safety, workplace culture, and continuous improvement. Drive achievement of operational KPIs, manage P&L, and develop leadership teams to ensure sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational performance across multiple facilities with a strong focus on safety and workplace culture
• Promote hands-on leadership and ensure site leaders remain actively engaged on the production floor
• Drive achievement of short- and long-term operational KPIs
• Build and reinforce Lean methodology and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Manage operational P&L and drive sustainable growth across the region
• Coach and develop plant-level leadership and operational teams
• Partner with Sales, HR, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other key functions to meet business objectives
• Align production capabilities with sales forecasts and future business needs
• Oversee resource planning, including equipment, staffing, and materials
• Implement cost-saving measures through process optimization and team development
• Support contingency planning for equipment, staffing, and operational continuity
• Represent operations in customer meetings, solution discussions, and strategic initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field
• 5–10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations or plant management
• Demonstrated experience building Lean culture and applying Lean tools
• Strong communication, decision-making, and prioritization skills
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop leaders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Ability to lead change and deliver measurable operational results in a multi-site environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field
• 5-10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations or plant management

Nice to Have

• Understanding of manufacturing or warehousing environments
• Industrial or metal industry experience
