Family Office Accountant

About This Role

This role is for a detail-oriented Family Office Accountant responsible for managing financial activities of investment funds, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting overall financial operations within a growing family office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger for the investment funds
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Monitor and review fund transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with fund documents
• Perform fund-level expense allocations and revenue recognition
• Prepare and distribute investor statements and reports
• Calculate fund performance metrics and provide analysis to stakeholders
• Monitor investment transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing activities
• Assist in the coordination of fund audits and tax compliance
• Prepare and review fund-level compliance reports, including regulatory filings and investor reporting requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 1-3 years of experience in tax or fund accounting
• Strong knowledge of fund accounting principles and practices
• Attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
