Accounting Manager

About This Role

Manage accounting operations for a service company in Southlake, overseeing close processes, ensuring GAAP compliance, and leading a team of accountants. This role offers a hybrid schedule, strong benefits, and unlimited PTO.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for multiple locations/entities
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across all locations
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Ensure consistent application of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Support budgeting and forecasting in partnership with FP&A and operations
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and reporting packages
• Manage internal and external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Identify and implement process improvements to scale accounting operations
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff across locations
• Partner with operations and leadership to support location-level performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA is required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with consolidations and intercompany accounting
• ERP system experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally 7-10 years

• Prior experience supporting multi-location, multi-entity, or distributed operations
• Multi-location ERP exposure
