IT Project Manager

About This Role

Lead and coordinate multiple technology initiatives across Otter Tail Power Company, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with company standards. This role involves managing project plans, budgets, risks, and liaising with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple technology initiatives
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with OTP’s project management standards
• Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risks
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and accurate documentation
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, analysts, business partners, and external vendors
• Guide project objectives and oversee contractor performance
• Support procurement activities

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience coordinating or supporting IT or departmental projects
• Strong background in contract work and managing multiple concurrent activities
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Solid knowledge of commercial contracts, IT systems, and general electrical facility concepts
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies
• Proven leadership
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Oracle, Microsoft O365, and project management tools
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or demonstrate equivalent hands-on experience
• 2–4 years of experience coordinating or supporting IT or departmental projects, with a strong background in contract work and managing multiple concurrent activities
