Infrastructure Network Manager

About This Role

Implement and maintain highly available, enterprise-level company network connections. This role involves a mix of project work and system support, focusing on network infrastructure management, security, troubleshooting, and strategic solution development.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain all company connections at a highly available, enterprise level
• Configure, maintain, and install routers, switches, appliances, hardware, software, and tools
• Maintain the health and security of the route switch environment with patches, updates, configurations, and monitoring systems
• Collaborate with department leader to identify, design, and develop strategic network solutions compliant with technical and security policies
• Act as subject matter expert in several Company network technologies, including analysis and QA
• Troubleshoot network issues using industry standard network tools and monitoring
• Provide operational support for day-to-day activities, including Cisco IOS, NXOS, and ACI
• Configure and implement firewalls (ASA and Checkpoint)
• Troubleshoot wireless issues (Cisco Wireless Controllers)
• Support Fiber Channel Infrastructure (Nexus 5000 series switches) and various network appliances (Citrix NetScaler, WSA, ESA)
• Complete network documentation using Visio and publishing via SharePoint or Wiki
• Support Level 1 and Level 2 technicians with trouble tickets for end users
• Provide after-hours on-call assistance on a rotation basis

Requirements

• 5 years of work experience as Network Architect, Solution Architect, Senior Network Engineer, Senior Network Specialist, Network Engineer, or combination
• 5 years of work experience with leading technology projects including deployment of Network Infrastructure CISCO ACI, Cisco DNA, Nexus 9000 CheckPoint R80.x and F5 BIG IP load balancers

Qualifications

• Bachelor Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering Computer Information Systems or related technical field and/or educational equivalent
• 5 years of work experience as Network Architect, Solution Architect, Senior Network Engineer, Senior Network Specialist, Network Engineer, or combination. 5 years of work experience with leading technology projects including deployment of Network Infrastructure CISCO ACI, Cisco DNA, Nexus 9000 CheckPoint R80.x and F5 BIG IP load balancers.
