About This Role

This role primarily involves performing physical cycle counts and inventory audits, reconciling discrepancies, and managing the reduction of aged and overstocked inventory. The coordinator also supports management-led initiatives and special projects to ensure accurate inventory records and efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical cycle counts and inventory audits, reconciling discrepancies and ensuring inventory is secured and accessible
  • Adjust required inventory based on counts and make bin changes as necessary
  • Ensure quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate
  • Research product and/or SKU discrepancies
  • Assist with root cause analysis for line-outs and maintain line-out data
  • Run Aged Inventory and Min/Max reports to identify potential materials for return or sale
  • Prepare and ship materials for return or sale, monitoring credits or payment receipts
  • Review min/max levels of Reserve Inventories and recommend changes to Site Management
  • Maintain a current, approved list of 'Customer Responsible Items'
  • Participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years related work experience
  • Strong computer knowledge and aptitude to learn various applications
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge of warehouse operations and supply chain management
  • Ability to read and interpret documents (safety rules, work orders, instructions, manuals)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstration of basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide using whole numbers, fractions, decimals)
  • Ability to compile routine reports and write correspondence

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years related work experience

Nice to Have

  • Experience with a Warehouse Management System
  • Knowledge of Control and SX.e
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operational software
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
