Intern, Finance (Tax Co-op)

About This Role

This Tax Co-op position offers a motivated college student the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tax accounting and compliance, contributing to process automation and improvement initiatives within Ricoh USA, Inc.'s Corporate Tax team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax filings
• Support tax compliance and provision processes, including data gathering and analysis
• Perform research on tax regulations and assist with documentation
• Maintain tax records and ensure accuracy in data entry
• Collaborate on process automation and improvement projects, requiring quick learning of new technologies
• Contribute to data analysis for tax-related projects and process enhancements

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in college
• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Information Systems
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in college, pursuing a degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Information Systems, with a minimum GPA of 3.0

Nice to Have

• Strong data analytical skills
• Experience with data analysis tools or ERP systems
• Familiarity with accounting and tax concepts or prior coursework in related fields
