This Tax Co-op position offers a motivated college student the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in tax accounting and compliance, contributing to process automation and improvement initiatives within Ricoh USA, Inc.'s Corporate Tax team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax filings
- Support tax compliance and provision processes, including data gathering and analysis
- Perform research on tax regulations and assist with documentation
- Maintain tax records and ensure accuracy in data entry
- Collaborate on process automation and improvement projects, requiring quick learning of new technologies
- Contribute to data analysis for tax-related projects and process enhancements
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in college
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Information Systems
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in college, pursuing a degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Information Systems, with a minimum GPA of 3.0
Nice to Have
- Strong data analytical skills
- Experience with data analysis tools or ERP systems
- Familiarity with accounting and tax concepts or prior coursework in related fields
