Insurance Intern

About This Role

This internship offers students challenging and meaningful work, allowing them to apply their education to real-world experience within the insurance industry. The program aims to familiarize interns with the business and culture of Brown & Brown, identifying candidates for potential full-time opportunities, especially in broker sales.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks
• Conduct marketing research
• Assist and shadow production brokers, underwriters, and account executives
• Create quote proposals
• Design marketing materials
• Perform spreadsheet analysis
• Conduct follow-up sales calls
• Create PowerPoint presentations

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university degree granting program
• Will be enrolled in the upcoming Fall Semester
• Majoring in Business, Economic, or Marketing
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Proficient skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Academic Excellence (3.0 GPA or higher)
• Great oral and written communication skills
• Ambition to succeed in a highly competitive industry

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university degree granting program in Business, Economic, or Marketing Majors
• No prior experience required, this is an internship.
