Analyst

About This Role

The Analyst will participate in a company-provided training program to learn about health and welfare benefits and financial analysis. They will perform daily account service for assigned clients and support the development of work products.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for projects and client engagements with oversight
• Perform data and financial analytics, working toward ownership of monthly financial reports and initial budget underwriting for less complex clients
• Coordinate the activities of RFPs, implementations, and renewals; develop and present results comparisons for client presentations
• Conduct benefits benchmarking research and analysis
• Assist in the review of internal compliance and client disclosure requirements, summary plan documents, and employee communications
• Participate in client calls and meetings as directed by team leads, ensuring documentation of call notes and follow-ups
• Seek to become current on industry trends, new product development, legislation, coverages, and technology
• Provide excellent customer service to all clients
• Promote teamwork, support, and a positive attitude in the office and with other teammates

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Proficient with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Life and Health license in good standing, required within 90 days of hire
