Employee Benefits Producer

About This Role

The Employee Benefits Producer will increase sales volume through client development and retention, manage relationships, and collaborate with team members to achieve customer satisfaction. This role involves building professional networks, identifying leads, and providing professional advice on insurance and risk management programs.

Responsibilities

• Build a network of professional relationships, identify new leads, and qualify opportunities.
• Establish, cultivate, and manage customer relations with clients and professional relationships with carrier partners.
• Conduct risk management surveys, determine insurance coverage needs, and advise clients on insurance options.
• Provide continuous professional advice for improving clients' insurance and risk management programs.
• Secure and prepare documentation for new business and renewal proposals and negotiate quotes.
• Present and sell new business and renewal proposals to prospective and existing client decision-makers.
• Review and resolve client disputes regarding complex claims.
• Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Actively participate in social, civic, trade organizations to promote the Profit Center’s image.
• Promote teamwork within the department and profit center through support, knowledge sharing, and a positive attitude.
• Participate in training opportunities to remain current on industry information and fulfill continuing education for licensing.

Requirements

• Valid Producer license in good standing, within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

• College Degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Strong technical knowledge of all lines of insurance coverage
• Familiarity with agency management system and other insurance sales applications
