Inside Sales Representative

About This Role

This Inside Sales Representative role involves actively engaging with customers via phone, fax, and email to process orders, provide product application assistance, check stock availability, and manage order statuses. The role supports the sales force by handling debit/credit transactions and communicating territorial happenings to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Receive calls from customers, salesmen, and service centers regarding orders and delivery inquiries
• Handle emergency quick ship orders for customers
• Edit and coordinate all incoming orders before and after shipment, verifying accuracy and completeness
• Communicate with customers and service centers regarding stock status, delivery, and order status
• Process quotation requests according to customer specifications and within time limits
• Handle general communications and correspondence with customers, salesmen, and service centers
• Participate in special projects and general office duties as required
• Regularly participate in training activities, both on and off-site
• Participate in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Relevant Customer Service work experience
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong math skills

Qualifications

• Relevant Customer Service work experience

Nice to Have

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
• Oracle based system experience
