Inside Sales

About This Role

The Inside Sales representative will collaborate with the sales team to grow existing customer relationships and acquire new customers, striving to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas while boosting customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Present price, credit, and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customer profitability profiles
• Provide accurate information regarding the availability of in-stock items
• Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected delivery dates
• Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed
• Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing satisfaction and resolve any complaints
• Fill requests for catalogs, information, or samples
• Setup and maintain customer files
• Communicate to the purchasing department any unexpected increases or decreases in demand for products
• Confidently sell and upsell complimentary products, promoting in-stock items and current programs
• Educate customers on how the organization differentiates from competitors

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required
• Minimum 2 years in similar position preferred. Product/applications experience preferred. Wholesale distribution experience preferred.
