Inside Sales

About This Role

Provide product knowledge on building materials and assist customers with purchases, taking orders at the sales counter and over the phone, while collaborating with Outside Sales and Sales Managers.

Responsibilities

• Take orders at the sales counter and over the phone
• Build relationships with customers
• Use company computer system to enter orders
• Complete sales orders and tender cash sales
• Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives and Sales Managers to determine strategic sales approaches
• Overcome objections of prospective customers
• Emphasize product and service features

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to self-manage, show initiative, and be comfortable meeting the public
• Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Four-year degree preferred
