Join a pediatric hospital near Fresno as a Clinical Pharmacist with expertise in hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplant to ensure excellence in medication management and patient safety. This role involves overseeing compliance with medication safety regulations, driving continuous practice improvements, and educating staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance with medication safety regulations
• Drive continuous practice improvements based on evidence and data
• Develop and update policies
• Educate staff on safety and regulatory topics
• Serve as a medication safety advocate across hospital disciplines

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree
• Registered Pharmacist licensure with California State Board of Pharmacy
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) to be completed within the first 30 days of employment
• Minimum five years of hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and accreditation requirements

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree
• Minimum five years of hospital pharmacy experience, with at least two years in management preferred

Nice to Have

• Accredited residency program experience
• Additional certifications (e.g., ASHP/ISMP Medication Safety Certificate)
• Experience with Medication Error Reporting Programs (MERP)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• At least two years in management (hospital pharmacy)
