Inn Door Attendant

About This Role

Ensure all hotel guests feel welcomed upon arrival by delivering warm greetings, anticipating needs, and answering inquiries. Build relationships with repeat guests and maintain knowledge of estate and area events to deliver world-class service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm and sincere greeting to all arriving guests/visitors
• Anticipate guest needs and provide world-class service
• Answer guest inquiries and build relationships with repeat guests
• Maintain knowledge of estate and area events, activities, and VIP arrivals/departures
• Provide general support to the Guest Services team, including valet, bell, and dispatch duties as assigned
• Meet and greet guests, open doors
• Clean working area and monitor valet circle
• Give directions and keep the hotel entrance clear
• Interact with guests respectfully and report on any maintenance needs
• Maintain complete knowledge of daily Inn and estate activities, services, hours of operations, and policies/procedures

Requirements

• Previous comparable guest service experience, preferably working in a four star/diamond hotel/resort
• At least six months of direct guest service experience in a hospitality setting
• Excellent communication and diplomacy skills
• Ability to engage with guests in a warm and sincere manner
• Ability to exhibit a high degree of integrity, professionalism and good judgment
• Extremely strong work ethic and sense of teamwork
• Ability to proactively anticipate guest needs
• Ability to maintain guest confidentiality
• Proven commitment to delivering world class guest service and/or the ability to meet departmental standards for guest service delivery
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have valid NC Driver's license
• Ability to operate standard transmission vehicles

Qualifications

• Previous comparable guest service experience, preferably in a four-star/diamond hotel/resort, with at least six months of direct guest service experience in a hospitality setting.
