Inn Banquet Server - Reserve

About This Role

The Banquet Server ensures guest satisfaction by providing exceptional food and beverage service and maintaining banquet and meeting facilities. This role involves setup, service, breakdown, and clean-up of events.

Responsibilities

• Execute events with world-class service through food and beverage service
• Set up and/or complete set up of banquet/meeting facilities
• Complete breakdown and clean-up of banquet facilities at the conclusion of the function
• Maintain banquet and meeting facilities during event(s), checking regularly to re-stock breaks and clear tables
• Ensure all equipment, including china, glass, silver, linen, is in its best possible working condition by wiping, polishing, and replacing damaged items
• Make certain that back halls and pantry are clean and clear of equipment, and all storage areas are clean and organized
• Ensure cleanliness of meeting rooms at all times
• Maintain and organize all inventories and replace stock when delivered

Requirements

• High school diploma (or GED)
• Minimum of six (6) months of related food and beverage experience
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering world-class guest service
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to exercise great judgment and proactively anticipate guest needs
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment under deadlines
• Adaptability
• At least 18 years of age

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or GED)
• Minimum of six (6) months of related food and beverage experience required. Prior experience in banquets in a fine dining, upscale catering, and/or luxury hotel/resort setting is ideal.
