About This Role

Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department, focusing on employee relations and benefits administration to ensure high-quality healthcare is accessible to the community.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central point of contact for the Human Resources Office, including walk-ins, call-ins, and correspondences
  • Review and respond to employees regarding policy, procedure, and other human resources related inquiries
  • Support Managers with policy interpretation and administration
  • Coordinate new hire process including background checks, health clearances, and paperwork
  • Assist with the coordination, scheduling/notification of new employee orientation and present on HR topics
  • Prepare and update employee security/access badges
  • Serve as backup for payroll processing
  • Maintain confidential personnel files and conduct file audits for compliance
  • Track employee data for timely submission of physicals, BLS, professional licenses, and certifications
  • Process employee benefits paperwork and assist with completing forms and resolving insurance issues
  • Perform general office duties including word processing, typing, preparing correspondence, filing, photocopying, and handling mail
  • Communicate HIPAA compliance, corporate compliance, and client confidentiality
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and accreditation standards

Requirements

  • Associate degree with 1+ year administrative experience OR High School Diploma with 3+ years administrative experience
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Qualifications

  • Associate degree with a minimum of one (1) year administrative experience with progressive responsibilities, or High School Diploma with at least three (3) years of administrative experience.
  • Minimum one (1) year administrative experience, or three (3) years with a High School Diploma. Preferred four (4) years of progressive experience in a business environment performing human resource administrative duties.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree with coursework in business administration, human resources, or comparable field
  • Ability to work with senior management
  • Proficient in HRIS platform
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in a business environment performing human resource administrative duties
