Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department, focusing on employee relations and benefits administration to ensure high-quality healthcare is accessible to the community.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the central point of contact for the Human Resources Office, including walk-ins, call-ins, and correspondences
- Review and respond to employees regarding policy, procedure, and other human resources related inquiries
- Support Managers with policy interpretation and administration
- Coordinate new hire process including background checks, health clearances, and paperwork
- Assist with the coordination, scheduling/notification of new employee orientation and present on HR topics
- Prepare and update employee security/access badges
- Serve as backup for payroll processing
- Maintain confidential personnel files and conduct file audits for compliance
- Track employee data for timely submission of physicals, BLS, professional licenses, and certifications
- Process employee benefits paperwork and assist with completing forms and resolving insurance issues
- Perform general office duties including word processing, typing, preparing correspondence, filing, photocopying, and handling mail
- Communicate HIPAA compliance, corporate compliance, and client confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and accreditation standards
Requirements
- Associate degree with 1+ year administrative experience OR High School Diploma with 3+ years administrative experience
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Qualifications
- Associate degree with a minimum of one (1) year administrative experience with progressive responsibilities, or High School Diploma with at least three (3) years of administrative experience.
- Minimum one (1) year administrative experience, or three (3) years with a High School Diploma. Preferred four (4) years of progressive experience in a business environment performing human resource administrative duties.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree with coursework in business administration, human resources, or comparable field
- Ability to work with senior management
- Proficient in HRIS platform
- 4+ years of progressive experience in a business environment performing human resource administrative duties
