About This Role

This HR Specialist role supports the HR Business Partner team by focusing on data analysis, reporting, and validation to provide actionable insights for decision-making. The position combines analytical expertise with strategic HR support, assisting with employee relations, policy interpretation, and talent processes.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and maintain employee data in HRIS and related systems
  • Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance
  • Generate recurring and ad-hoc HR reports (headcount, turnover, diversity metrics)
  • Analyze workforce trends and provide actionable insights to HRBPs and leadership
  • Support HR dashboards and presentations with data visualization
  • Partner with HRIS team to troubleshoot data issues and optimize processes
  • Assist HRBPs with employee relations cases by providing accurate data and documentation
  • Support talent processes (performance reviews, merit cycles) with data preparation and validation
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, ensuring data accuracy and timely execution
  • Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures when needed
  • Act as a liaison between HR and other departments for data-driven decision-making
  • Navigate and develop communications and best-practice sharing across the Corrugated organization to ensure consistency and alignment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or Data Analytics
  • 2+ years of experience in HR operations or analytics
  • Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday, People Soft, etc.) and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Ability to manage confidential information and work collaboratively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or Data Analytics
  • 2+ years of experience in HR operations or analytics

Nice to Have

  • PowerBi experience
  • Experience with reporting tools
