About This Role

Serve as the primary point of contact for human resources functions for local staff, administer the company's HRIS system (Ultimate Software), and facilitate employee engagement and onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Handle questions and administration of basic HR functions for local staff, escalating to HR Manager as needed
  • Administer the company HRIS system (Ultimate Software) covering recruitment, onboarding, benefits, performance, and payroll
  • Utilize corporate resources and intranet portal for HR processes, procedures, and employee handbook
  • Perform administrative duties related to employee engagement activities, meetings, training, and maintenance of supplies
  • Maintain monthly communication meetings for the Region
  • Interpret human resources policies using Agency guidelines
  • Implement strategies to build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention
  • Conduct weekly check-in meetings with each office, in person or via zoom
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new employees
  • Act as the designated employee point person for questions and guidance for each office

Requirements

  • Associate degree
  • 2+ years' experience in Accounting, Human Resources or General Business
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with peers - internal and external
  • Excellent communication skills: writing, speaking, presenting and listening
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

Qualifications

  • Associate degree, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years' experience in Accounting, Human Resources or General Business
