About This Role

This HR Generalist role involves managing payroll, administering benefits, ensuring compliance, and supporting recruitment and employee relations for a contract-to-permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processes on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards
• Administer employee benefits programs, providing guidance and addressing inquiries from staff
• Oversee compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to legal and organizational policies
• Post job openings and coordinate recruitment activities to support staffing needs
• Conduct intake and investigations related to employee relations matters, offering attentive and confidential support
• Utilize HRIS systems effectively
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR programs that align with organizational goals
• Support onboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new team members
• Provide general HR support across various functions within the organization
• Contribute to creating a welcoming and productive work environment for all employees

Requirements

• 5-8 years of HR experience
• Demonstrated ability to handle diverse HR responsibilities
• Strong proficiency in HRIS systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage payroll, benefits, and compliance processes effectively
• Familiarity with employee relations investigations and handling sensitive matters
• Proactive and hardworking nature

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5-8 years of HR experience, preferably with companies under 250 employees

• Experience in Workforce (HRIS)
