About This Role

The Host is responsible for greeting guests with enthusiasm, managing wait times, seating guests, and bidding them farewell. This role also supports guests with menu selections, order taking, packaging To Go orders, and processing payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests with genuine enthusiasm and warmth upon arrival or over the phone
• Inform guests of their wait time and enter guest names into the computer system
• Show guests to their table and bid guests farewell as they leave
• Assist guests in making menu selections over the phone
• Take and ring in orders for To Go food and beverages
• Package To Go food and beverages and process payments
• Assist fellow team members to ensure overall guest satisfaction
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning glass and menus
• Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked and orderly

Requirements

• Upbeat, outgoing and positive attitude
• Ability to assist guests and possess great guest relations skills
• Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time

Qualifications

• 6 months customer service or guest service experience preferred
