Host - Bistro - Reserve

About This Role

As a Host, you will greet and escort guests, manage seating flow, and maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant. You will also handle telephone inquiries, reservations, and assist in monitoring guest needs to ensure high standards of service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all arriving guests and escort them to tables, assisting with seating
• Maintain an optimum flow of seating by section to best service guests
• Assist in preparing the Restaurant for service and maintaining its cleanliness at all times
• Answer the telephone, take and confirm reservations, and maintain the reservation book
• Assist in monitoring guests’ needs and all phases of the operation
• Guide Servers and Dining Room Assistants in table set-up needs
• Communicate V.I.P. arrivals and special requests to designated personnel
• Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and maintain positive guest relations

Qualifications

• Previous customer/guest service experience strongly preferred. Previous food and beverage experience in a full-service, upscale restaurant is ideal.
