Heavy Civil/Industrial Project Manager - Water/Wastewater

About This Role

Manage complex water and wastewater construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Lead and coordinate diverse project teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of water and wastewater and pump station construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, contractors, and other professionals during all phases of project development and execution
• Prepare, review, and update project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensuring that all project activities align with these plans
• Coordinate and supervise the construction process from the conceptual development stage through to final construction
• Manage and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the project
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards related to water and wastewater construction projects
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project management within heavy civil/industrial construction
• Proven experience in managing water and wastewater construction projects (including underground utilities, pump stations, site work, structural concrete)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards related to water and wastewater construction projects
• Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the heavy civil/industrial construction sector, with proven experience in managing water and wastewater construction projects.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of process piping, mechanical piping, and yard piping
