About This Role

As a Guest Service Agent, you will provide exceptional service to guests at a luxury waterfront hotel and marina, handling check-ins, reservations, and inquiries. This role involves ensuring a seamless guest experience and supporting marina operations.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests with check-in, check-out, and concierge services, ensuring a seamless experience
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries about the hotel, marina, and Boston attractions
  • Handle reservations, phone calls, and guest requests with professionalism and efficiency
  • Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and facilities are in top condition
  • Process payments, handle invoices, and maintain accurate records in all of the inn and marina software
  • Cross-train to assist with marina and heart-of-the-house responsibilities
  • Assist with special guest requests, VIP services, and marina operations as needed

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and handle busy shifts with a smile
  • Ability to sit and stand for periods of time, lift, push, pull and carry up to 20 lbs
  • A problem-solver who can think on their feet and deliver solutions with confidence

Qualifications

  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
