This role is a full-time, year-round Marina Dock Attendant / Dock Hand position at Ocean Havens Marinas in Boston, providing essential customer service and facility maintenance on Boston Harbor.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-class customer service to all customers
- Perform daily opening and closing duties, dock walks, and meter readings
- Maintain grounds including cleaning restrooms, docks, walkways, sidewalks, and equipment
- Conduct daily pump-outs and maintain equipment sanitation procedures
- Assist and support special events at the marina, potentially outside normal operating hours
- Exhibit a proactive, professional, honest, trustworthy, and strong work ethic
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use VHF radio
- Ability to operate small handheld and power tools
- Ability to read and write
- Competent with use of Computers
- Able to swim
- Customer Service & Detail Oriented
- Schedule Flexibility, weekends and holidays required
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of boating
- Knowledge of Boston and surroundings
- Ability to work part time / full time / or weekends in the Fall
