Guest Service Agent

About This Role

Serve as a Guest Service Agent, providing exceptional customer service to guests from check-in to check-out, managing reservations, and handling inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and greet guests
• Check guests into and out of the hotel
• Act as cashier
• Take reservations
• Respond to inquiries and provide information about the hotel and local area
• Maintain high quality service to guests and potential guests through various experiences
• Anticipate and respond to guest needs and requests
• Maintain effective communication with guests and co-workers
• Listen to comments, criticism and feedback from guests and take appropriate action

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one year hotel front desk experience
• Outstanding guest service skills
• Pleasant, well-groomed appearance
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Ability to stand and move about for extended periods
• Ability to read and write and perform basic math
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
• Minimum one year hotel front desk experience required
