Group Benefits Account Manager

About This Role

Manage client relationships and facilitate Stop Loss policies by collaborating with Sales and Account Executives. Ensure seamless communication, compliance, and delivery of white-glove service to broker and client partners.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and Account Executives to develop and implement strategies for new and renewal accounts
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure services align with the organization’s value proposition and strategic goals
• Support best-in-class Stop Loss pricing, account management, claims administration, and premium services
• Provide daily client services, including processing policies, endorsements, invoicing, and certificates of insurance
• Manage client payment processes by partnering with the premiums department to ensure timely premium receipt and disbursement
• Act as a liaison between the field team, broker, client, claims analysts, and carrier to facilitate prompt claim reimbursement
• Ensure compliance and adherence for each account, following strict PHI and HIPAA Privacy guidelines
• Manage electronic file set-up and maintenance, including documentation of client meetings, issues, and decisions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Sales and Account Executives and external partners
• Plan, prioritize, and complete day-to-day workload, balancing new business, renewals, and service responsibilities

Requirements

• 3+ years in Group Benefits
• 1+ years in Account Management
• Strong business acumen
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or strongly preferred
• 3+ years in Group Benefits and at least 1+ years in Account Management strongly preferred
