Access Insurance Internship

About This Role

This internship offers students real-world experience in the insurance industry, allowing them to gain exposure to various areas from brokerage to analytics and contribute to meaningful projects.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside professionals in the insurance industry
• Gain exposure to different areas of the insurance industry, including brokerage, underwriting, client services, and analytics
• Apply classroom knowledge to real business scenarios
• Contribute to meaningful projects and make an impact
• Build relationships with mentors, teammates, and leaders across Amwins
• Assist with data entry, analysis, and reporting for client accounts
• Support underwriting and/or brokerage teams with documentation and research
• Contribute to the comparison of insurance quotes across multiple markets
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
• Help prepare presentations and client deliverables
• Shadow professionals across departments to learn about different roles
• Complete a capstone project or presentation during the internship

Requirements

• Student enrolled at an accredited college or university
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Risk Management & Insurance, or a related field
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Curious, driven, and eager to learn
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Risk Management & Insurance, or a related field
• Enrolled at an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Risk Management & Insurance, or a related field

Nice to Have

• GPA of 3.0 or higher
