This on-site Associate Broker position at Amwins in Seattle, WA supports the Brokerage team by reviewing and analyzing insurance submissions, determining coverage needs, and developing proposals for property, casualty, and professional lines of insurance products.
Responsibilities
- Review submission information required to issue new or renewal quotes
- Analyze new and renewal submissions and provide market selection
- Determine coverage needs and develop proposals
- Review and handle inspection recommendations and discrepancies
- Develop relationships with agency and underwriter partners
- Receive and respond to calls/requests concerning problems, delays, discrepancies, etc. and provide resolution
- Supervise or delegate endorsement requests, signed applications, forms, underwriting information, tasks, and certificates of insurance to carriers
- Monitor various reports for consistency
Requirements
- 1-3 years of commercial insurance experience
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Driven and highly motivated with team-focused mentality
- Experience with developing relationships at all levels both internally and externally
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of commercial insurance experience
Nice to Have
- Experience in Professional Lines insurance
