This role involves providing patient-centered care in a Progressive Care Unit by utilizing evidence-based practices and the nursing process to develop comprehensive care plans. The Nurse will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, focusing on the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Utilize evidence based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, policies and procedures of the hospital directed by the medical staff
- Use the nursing process to develop a plan of care which includes standards of practice
- Meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient and family
Requirements
- ASN/BSN
- New graduate able to work under supervision per State guidelines
