Lead a high-energy, full-service lifestyle hotel and social hub in St. Petersburg, overseeing all operational and strategic aspects from rooms to food and beverage, while fostering a vibrant culture and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Set and execute the overall strategic vision for the hotel in alignment with Wurzak Hotel Group and the Moxy brand
- Lead with personality, presence, and accountability, creating an empowered and engaged team culture
- Provide direct oversight of Front Office, Housekeeping, and Engineering to ensure seamless operations and elevated guest experience
- Lead all Food and Beverage operations, driving innovative concepts and managing labor, costs, and service execution
- Own the commercial strategy of the hotel, including pricing, forecasting, yield management, and channel mix
- Develop and manage budgets, analyze financial performance, and implement cost controls to maximize profitability
- Directly oversee sales strategy and performance across transient, group, and local market segments
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing leadership team and hourly staff
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-energy work environment
- Serve as a visible brand ambassador within the St. Petersburg community and build meaningful relationships
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Manager or senior hotel leader
- Strong Food and Beverage leadership experience
- Demonstrated success overseeing Rooms, Food and Beverage, Revenue Management, and Sales
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls and driving revenue growth
- Proficiency with hotel systems, revenue platforms, and Microsoft Office
- Flexibility in schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a General Manager or senior hotel leader, preferably in a full-service or lifestyle hotel environment, with strong Food and Beverage leadership experience.
