General Manager

About This Role

Lead and manage all Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations for a high-volume, polished casual restaurant, driving financial performance, developing team members, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily FOH and BOH restaurant operations
• Lead, mentor, and develop management and hourly team members
• Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, and guest-focused service
• Organize and supervise shifts, setting daily, weekly, and monthly goals
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
• Manage revenue, profitability, and cost controls
• Analyze weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports
• Control operational costs and reduce waste
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve customer concerns promptly
• Train new and existing team members on service standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar leadership role
• Strong knowledge of full-service restaurant operations (FOH & BOH)
• Demonstrated financial management and P&L responsibility
• Experience with restaurant management software such as PosiTouch (POS), OpenTable, Restaurant 365, or similar systems
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
• General food and beverage knowledge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred
• Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager, Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar leadership role
