General Manager

About This Role

Lead the SMP/Eastlake manufacturing operation for PCC Airfoils, taking full responsibility for safety, operational performance, financial results, and long-term growth. Drive strategy, execution, and people development in a precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the site P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance execution
• Serve as the visible champion of safety, compliance, and operational discipline
• Drive results across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and Cash KPIs
• Develop and execute short- and long-term business strategies to grow revenue, profit, and cash flow
• Lead daily operations and high-impact initiatives; create and execute recovery plans when targets are missed
• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing manufacturing leadership team
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, EHS, Sales, Finance, HR, and Supply Chain
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and senior executives with professionalism and clarity
• Drive product line growth, new customer opportunities, and continuous improvement
• Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with Division and Corporate leadership

Requirements

• Proven experience leading a large, complex manufacturing operation
• Demonstrated full P&L ownership and business leadership
• Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TOC, and structured problem solving
• Track record of relentless execution and measurable results
• Ability to lead through change, manage competing priorities, and deliver in high-accountability environments

• Proven experience leading a large, complex manufacturing operation in a short-cycle environment
