About This Role

Control and manage the day-to-day operations of Troy's, a unique venue offering gourmet food, signature cocktails, and live music within Texas Live!. Ensure high standards of customer service, financial profitability, compliance, and staff management.

Responsibilities

  • Control day-to-day operations within company policies and guidelines
  • Maintain a professional company image, including cleanliness and appearance standards
  • Manage service contracts with outside vendors, including entertainment vendors
  • Prepare Ops Statements and other financial disclosures, taking appropriate actions
  • Control Profit & Loss through cash control, inventory management, labor management, and financial reporting
  • Ensure daily deposits, safe counts, and cash security
  • Maintain cost of goods sold, nightly comps, nightly recap reports, and safe audits by overseeing inventory counts
  • Respond to customer service needs to provide the highest standards of service
  • Complete financial and personnel/payroll related administrative duties accurately and on time
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, supervise, motivate, and discipline team management members
  • Ensure all staff is properly trained and equipped to perform their job functions
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce injury and accidents
  • Represent the venue professionally to the community-at-large

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years' experience in restaurant/nightclub management
  • Must speak fluent English
  • Good people management skills
  • Communication and listening skills
  • Ability to lead a team and communicate efficiently, both verbally and in writing
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • Internally motivated and detail oriented
  • Passion for teaching others
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; 4 year college degree or equivalent with course work in restaurant management, preferred.
  • At least 5 years' experience in restaurant/nightclub management, multi-unit management a plus.
