General Manager

About This Role

The General Manager drives productivity, sales, and expense control for FlyLock Security Solutions - Minneapolis, overseeing a team of Service Technicians. This role ensures customer satisfaction through exceptional service and adherence to company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the professional growth and development of all individuals within the office
• Recruit, hire, and train a team of highly qualified Service Technicians
• Motivate FlyLock Technicians to provide WOW! Customer Service
• Enhance productivity and market products to enhance sales and profits
• Assist commercial accounts with selecting merchandise
• Ensure all company policies and loss prevention procedures are followed
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure technicians implement practices including PPE
• Comply with safe driving rules and procedures and ensure technicians have approved driver status
• Address commercial customer concerns and resolve them with a goal of turning a complaint into a compliment
• Direct and oversee the work of Service Technicians who perform locksmithing and security solutions work

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in locksmith, security solutions, or other skilled trades
• Effective leadership and communication skills
• Strong decision-making ability
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Good relationship-building skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple functions and maintain good organizational skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, both individually and as part of a team
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Working knowledge of CRM systems such as SalesForce

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in the locksmith, security solutions, or other skilled trades or comparable experience or training.
