Lead and scale the Fire & PPE division, driving commercial and operational elements while partnering with Marketing and Sales to capture this market segment. This role focuses on revenue growth through proprietary waterless cleaning technology and building market awareness.
Responsibilities
- Own the P&L and all operational and revenue elements for the Fire & PPE division
- Develop and execute integrated sales and marketing strategy
- Build the sales function and potentially scale a team as the division grows
- Set go-to-market and pricing strategies and manage the division budget
- Partner with the Technology team to advance R&D and commercialize new business lines
- Drive new business with fire departments, municipalities, ISPs, and other PPE manufacturers
- Manage strategic partnerships and industry events
- Oversee all operational elements, from facility management to scaling footprint
- Lead and manage operational teams to ensure high quality work within SLAs
- Become a trusted voice in the fire service community on PPE decontamination
Requirements
- 7-10+ years B2B General Management, Commercial Leadership or Sales experience with proven revenue growth
- 3+ years in leadership role with P&L or business unit ownership
- Track record selling to government/municipalities with complex procurement cycles
- Experience achieving annual revenue targets
- Excel and financial modeling competency
- Excellent presentation skills for both executives and field personnel
- Self-starter who builds from the ground up
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
- 7-10+ years B2B General Management, Commercial Leadership or Sales experience with proven revenue growth, and 3+ years in leadership role with P&L or business unit ownership
Nice to Have
- Fire service, public safety, or PPE industry experience
- Existing relationships with fire departments or fire service organizations
- Knowledge of NFPA 1851/1971 standards
- Understanding of firefighter cancer risks and PFAS contamination issues
- Experience with ISP networks and fire service supply chain
- Background in cleantech, industrial equipment, or mission-driven sales
- Familiarity with AFG/SAFER grant programs and municipal budgeting
