General Manager

About This Role

This General Manager role involves overseeing all aspects of shop operations, including sales, production, and human resources, to deliver excellent guest experiences and lead team development. The General Manager will ensure efficient operations and maintain high standards of quality for products and services.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for exceptional guest service and role-model professional handling of difficult situations
• Ensure products are prepared and served to the highest standards, observing all operations
• Work with leadership to achieve business plan objectives and profitability, leading sales programs including retail and e-commerce
• Maximize efficiency in daily production, understand quality control, and promote shop safety and cleanliness
• Hire, interview, train, supervise, schedule, and provide performance feedback to employees
• Manage income and expense budgets, report sales, and understand the P&L statement
• Lead the team by modeling company standards, stressing efficiency, organization, and communication
• Be willing to assist team members and guests, including carrying up to 25lbs, cleaning, and making products
• Potentially travel periodically and maintain a valid driver's license

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Leadership skills
• Organizational and communication skills

• Ability to interact with guests
• Basic knowledge of computer office technology
• Knowledge of sales, management, production, and customer service
• Adaptability and creativity to navigate situations
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and event days
