General Laborer

About This Role

Perform a variety of general labor functions at an equipment and assembly facility, including loading/unloading trucks, operating power tools and forklifts, and assembling standard products.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor functions such as sweeping, emptying trash, and grounds maintenance
• Load and unload trucks
• Operate fork truck and jib hoist
• Operate small power tools
• Assemble standard products like disposorbs, vaporpacs, and ventsorbs
• Pressure test assembled units to meet requirements
• Recondition small returnable units
• Weigh and load carbon into small systems
• Assist in receiving and verifying materials and parts
• Read instructions and drawings for reconditioning and assembly
• Fabricate lined pipe (PPL and TFE) including cutting, threading, assembly, flaring, and testing
• Cut, thread, and assemble carbon steel, plastic, and stainless steel pipe
• Assist with warehousing duties
• Perform layout and assembly on small equipment
• Maintain CCC’s service equipment, including review, repair list preparation, and performance of repairs
• Pickup parts and make small equipment deliveries

Requirements

• Ability to perform general labor functions
• Ability to operate fork truck and jib hoist
• Ability to operate small power tools
• Ability to read instructions and drawings

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred
• 0-2 years of general labor experience

Nice to Have

• Industrial labor experience
