Full Time Sales Lead

About This Role

As a Full-Time Sales Lead, you will ensure excellent customer service, oversee daily associate activities, manage store operations, and support staff training, contributing to sales growth and efficient merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact and B.E.S.T. customer service experience, ensuring fast, friendly check out experiences.
• Help oversee the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring effective performance and excellent customer service.
• Assist with the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock for efficient placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and addressing urgent issues.
• Manage the entire process of opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Support the onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partner with the entire store leadership team in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining stock room.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Creative thinking
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure
• Ability to frequently operate cash register
• Ability to frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and places/removes merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
• Ability to frequently ascend/descend ladders
• Ability to frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop
• Ability to frequently communicate and exchange information with customers, managers and coworkers
• Ability to frequently move across the sales floor and to/from the stock room
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends and potentially overnight shifts and travel
• Ability to identify and discern email and print instructions
• Ability to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of management experience
