About This Role

As a Sales Associate at Five Below, you will engage with customers, assist them with their shopping needs, and contribute to a fun and enthusiastic store environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly, handling multiple customers efficiently
• Understand and meet customer needs by providing product knowledge, answering questions, and offering recommendations
• Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability
• Inform customers about current store events, promotions, and special activities
• Address customer issues and use product knowledge to offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges
• Regularly inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback
• Collaborate with the team to achieve overall store and company objectives

Requirements

• At least 16 years old
• Available to work a flexible schedule
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices)
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally
