Full-Time Sales Lead

About This Role

As a Sales Lead, you will inspire teammates and provide exceptional customer experiences in a Famous Footwear store, driving sales and maintaining efficient retail operations. This role focuses on fostering a positive store culture and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Inspire teammates with integrity and drive, fostering a culture of caring and camaraderie
• Help infuse coaching moments for selling behaviors behind Customer Connection
• Take accountability for goals and their impact on Famous Footwear’s overall performance
• Drive sales with purpose and determination to achieve goals
• Manage retail operations including pricing, inventory, opening, and closing the store
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and styles are easily shoppable
• Utilize fellow partners and resources to consistently accomplish tasks
• Embody the behaviors that power Customer Connection, delivering top-notch customer service
• Maintain a positive and proactive mindset, uplifting and supporting others
• Make shoe recommendations and ensure customers find the perfect fit

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Proficient working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
• Ability to work effectively on a team and motivate others
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to mentor and train Associates on selling and operational processes
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours
• Basic computer skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Some retail store management experience or relevant management experience
