Fuel Center / Lead Clerk

About This Role

This role creates an outstanding customer experience for the Fuel Center by establishing a safe and clean environment, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate sales transactions. It supports Fuel operations, aiming to achieve sales goals and uphold quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist store management in preparing the store/department budget and profit and loss reviews
• Participate in the inventory process and note discrepancies
• Train department associates on inventory, stocking, and Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO)
• Manage fuel delivery and documentation of fuel inventory
• Process fuel, merchandise, and lottery sales accurately
• Follow opening and closing procedures for the Fuel Center
• Maintain till according to company policy and perform cashier functions
• Comply with safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and reinforce safety programs
• Maintain state, local, and company compliance reports and logs
• Complete incident, security, and Fuel Spill Reports
• Maintain knowledge of emergency plans and notify management of accidents
• Report all safety risks, issues, and illegal activity
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and notify management of repairs needed
• Stock and inventory merchandise in kiosks
• Clean and maintain kiosk, equipment, fuel dispensers, vending machines, and parking area

Requirements

• Effective Communication Skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Nice to Have

• High School Diploma or GED
• Any fuel experience
